What we keep when you write to the studio.

Data controller

What we collect

From the enquiry form: your name, email, the sitting you selected, a preferred month if you gave one, whether you already hold equities overnight, and the message you typed. If you later enrol, we also keep payment references (amount, date, transferring bank if visible on the slip) and attendance notes. Chart images you send are treated as part of the teaching file for that sitting.

We do not ask for national ID numbers, brokerage logins, or portfolio valuations as a condition of class. If you paste them into the message box anyway, we will ask you not to, and we will delete that passage from our copy when we notice it.

Why we use it

We use the data to reply to you, to confirm a seat, to print the right supporting pages (SET versus US examples), to record that a fee was paid, and to send the coaching recap we promised. These uses are for the contract of teaching and for our legitimate need to run a small studio. Where Thai law requires consent for a specific use, we will ask.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are kept for twelve months so we can see if you wrote twice, then deleted. Enrolment records, attendance, and fee receipts are kept for five years for accounting and for any refund dispute. Homework charts are kept until the cohort or sitting ends, then destroyed unless you ask us in writing to return the paper. Recap emails remain in the mailbox unless you ask us to delete the thread.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) you may request access, correction, deletion where the law allows, and restriction of processing. You may withdraw consent where consent was the basis. Write to hello@stack-mapgrid.digital. We will respond within the period the Act requires. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand.

Sharing

We do not sell student lists. We may share data with an accountant or a bank as needed to record a transfer, and with a lawyer if a dispute is opened. Hosting for this static site may process technical logs (IP address, browser) on servers outside Thailand. That is an international transfer of limited technical data, not of your chart pack.

International transfers

If you write to us from outside Thailand, your message still lands with a controller in Bangkok. Recap emails may be stored on mail servers that replicate outside Thailand. We use that only to deliver mail. We do not run a student portal in another country.
